Good afternoon Troop 3,
Been finalizing plans for the three day Winter Encampment.
We will be camped in Navajo Campsite, along with another troop of about 7-8 people.
Please be aware that all food is provided, and what you need to bring is your book and warm clothes.
As many of you are aware, layers will keep us warm, and a raincoat will keep us dry.
If you do not have a raincoat, there are some single use raincoats in our well equipped trailer. [See weather forecast below]
Please meet at my home at 8AM Monday morning (tomorrow morning), and we will try to arrive at Tonkawa a little after 8:30 AM.
Many of the classes will be indoors, and precautions will be taken against the cold, potential rain, and especially Covid 19.
Mr. Darrel Parrish will serve as the Camp Medic, so we will be in good shape there.
This has been a tough year, but let’s end it on a positive note by earning some fun merit badges.
Despite the way it may seem, Troop 3 has been fairly active for much of this year, and I have collected many pictures that i will be sending out after we return.
There is even a good picture of me.
Take care and God Bless ~ Don C
