Good morning Troop 3 Family,
Let me begin by wishing you all a wonderful Christmas, with prayers for a better New Year in 2021. Hopefully the lessons we learned, the pain we endured, and the strength & courage we gained will make us stronger, but at the same time, more loving and caring for the rest of our lives.
(Please make your selections and call Mr. C TODAY, so he is able to get the Troop signed up. Myron)
Winter Camp begins Monday morning so if we can let’s finish up the paperwork today, and then get back to Christmas. There are four blocks of Merit Badge classes at camp this year, and each Scout should pick the MB he wants.
In Block 1, we are all signed up for Pioneering, which is a fun class.
For Block 2 you can choose Cooking(ER), Search and Rescue, or Environmental Science(ER).
In Block 3, there is COPE, First Aid(ER) or Space Exploration.
Block 4 has Astronomy or Communication(ER).
Please note that Eagle required(ER) merit badges are in bold print(ER). Pick what you want to take and reply, today if possible please.
COPE stands for Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience, and is a lot of fun. COPE members develop personal confidence in a short time, and I hope you will choose it. Troop 3 will pay the COPE fees. This is been a tough year, and as much as possible, I would like for each of us to end it on a positive note.
