2NOV21 UPDATE – Darrell Parrish Health Issue

Good evening Troop 3 Family,

I just got back from visiting Darrell Parrish at Hendrick North Hospital. He had been transferred to room 3702.

The swelling and infection in his right leg is slowly going down. It was swollen from the top of the knee to the ankle, but is now only red and inflamed from just below the knee to the ankle. Otherwise he looks perfectly healthy. He could be there for another week or so, as these are serious infections. He is now able to walk again for short distances. There will be another assessment tomorrow, and he will have a good idea then how long he will have to remain there. While I was there, his wife Miriam came back and she told me more about the process.

When I had talked to him over the weekend, he said did not want visitors …. but when I was in the room it was obvious that Darrell needed someone to talk with. In reality, he would love to have visitors.
