2022 Troop 3 Spring Break Trip

Good afternoon Troop 3 Family,

Attached are three maps showing where we will be camping for Spring Break at Proctor Lake.

The drive will be a little over 1.5 hours, and we will camp in Campsite Area G-1 in the Copperas Creek Park area. There is electricity and rest rooms across the street. There is also a dock at the lake near our camping area. It is normally closed this time of year, but in exchange for a service project, they are opening it up for us to use free.

The first map is essentially how to get near there from Comanche, as there will be a lot of turns. The more detailed map will get us to the Gatehouse where we check in, and then go to Area G1. The closeup map shows up where the dock is and a little about the area. We should have a lot of privacy.

There is a fire ring and we can have fires. I will ask about bringing wood.

Also attached is a Spring Break Gear list.

We need to finalize menu’s and times tonight. We can finalize our times at tonight’s meeting.
